Assessment of Spatial Variability of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) in Urban Soils and Fungal Disease Status of Trees Grown in Hong Kong Areas

Biography:

Sung Ka Chun, Jacky, is a third-year PhD student at the School of Chinese Medicine, Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong. His research focuses on environmental science, particularly the relationship between soil pollution and indigenous plant growth. He has published several papers in peer-reviewed SCI journals.

Research Interests:

Sung Ka Chun, Jacky research interests center on environmental science with a particular emphasis on soil pollution and its impact on indigenous plant growth and ecosystem health. He focuses on investigating soil contamination mechanisms, sustainable remediation strategies and the interactions between polluted environments and plant adaptation. His work also explores ecological conservation, environmental monitoring and the application of interdisciplinary scientific approaches to promote sustainable environmental management.
